CLUB LIVE: Succeskonceptet, der nytænker liveoplevelsen
Erfaring og passion er fællesnævneren for de artister, der indtager scenen, når CLUB LIVE er i byen, og det har altså nu sikret dem en plads på Roskilde Festivals First Days-program.

Forestil dig diverse dansable afarter af hiphop, afrobeat, R&B og jazz på dansegulvet. Ikke som plug&play-tracks, men som musik der opstår i øjeblikket – strukket ud, splittet ad og samlet igen. Det hele foregår live med dygtige musikere direkte på scenen. Det er idéen bag konceptet CLUB LIVE, der vender tilbage til Radar lørdag den 11. april. Men hvad er det egentlig, der gør det til en aften, du ikke bør gå glip af den?
CLUB LIVE-konceptet har gjort sit indtog på den københavnske klubscene med stor succes, hvor de gang på gang fylder scenen og dansegulvet – blandt andet på spillestedet Sigurd. En gå-i-byen-aften, hvor musikken er i centrum, gulvet er varmt, og hvor der gavmildt bliver delt ud af kærlighed til improvisation og de intense øjeblikke.
Festen migrerer til Aarhus for tredje gang, når CLUB LIVE indtager Radar lørdag den 11. april, som en vaskeægte forårsbebuder. Foruden turen til Aarhus, er det også netop blevet offentliggjort, at CLUB LIVE skal spille på årets Roskilde Festival, så april-koncerten på Radar bliver den perfekte forsmag på, hvad du kan forvente, når de indtager Dyrskuepladsen til sommer.
Bandet består af Mikael Hegelund (Univers) på bas, Felix Diarra (Tobias Rahim) på guitar, Bertil Bille (JJ Paulo, GOBS) på trommer og Yohan Ramon (ICEKiiD) på percussion. Aftenen dirigeres af DJ John Vincent, der er baseret i København og har over 15 års erfaring fra klubber, festivaler og internationale turnéer som tour-DJ. Han har spillet og varmet op for internationale artister som Ms. Lauryn Hill, Ne-Yo, Craig David og danske artister som ICEKiiD, Artige Ardit & Lamin.

Experience and passion are the common denominators for the artists taking the stage when CLUB LIVE comes to town, and that has now secured them a spot on the Roskilde Festival’s First Days program.
Imagine various danceable offshoots of hip hop, afrobeat, R&B, and jazz on the dance floor. Not as plug-and-play tracks, but as music that emerges in the moment — stretched out, taken apart, and put back together again. Everything happens live, with skilled musicians performing directly on stage. That’s the idea behind the concept CLUB LIVE, which returns to Radar on Saturday, April 11. But what exactly makes it a night you shouldn’t miss?
The CLUB LIVE concept has made a successful entry onto the Copenhagen club scene, repeatedly filling both the stage and the dance floor — mainly at the venue Sigurd. It’s a night out where the music takes center stage, the dance floor is hot, and there’s a generous sharing of love for improvisation and those intense moments.
The party migrates to Aarhus for the third time when CLUB LIVE takes over Radar on Saturday, April 11, as a true herald of spring. In addition to the trip to Aarhus, it has just been announced that CLUB LIVE will also perform at this year’s Roskilde Festival, making the April concert at Radar the perfect preview of what you can expect when they take the stage at Dyrskuepladsen this summer.
