Pleaser + St. Digue
PLEASER
St. Digue
St. Digue (a.k.a Kasper Deichmann) er en dansk Darkwave solo-artist baseret i København.
Maj 2023 gennem Midnat Records.
ENGLISH
PLEASER
Pleaser is a promising new underground band from Copenhagen. The group was formed in the circle of friends around a house collective and in 2018 found its form in the rehearsal rooms around Ungdomshuset – a place Pleaser feels close to. A few years later, Pleaser debuted and quickly became noticed for their fresh take on the punk genre. Pleaser is a DIY punk band but also a band that has found their own unique sound through the all-encompassing and omnivorous musical taste of the four musicians. Musically, Pleaser's music can be described as raucous and noisy but at the same time immediately catchy with a biting duet song at the front. Both hardcore punk and alternative rock are drawn on, and the result is catchy and charming. In the summer of 2020, Pleaser recorded a demo EP, which was released the following year digitally and later on tape via the Copenhagen label Part Time Records. Pleaser has already played a large number of acclaimed concerts in Denmark, from underground punk shows to established festivals. The attention surrounding the group has been significant and positive and has, among other things, resulted in airplay on B6Beat - a highly unusual feat for a local underground punk band. Pleaser has recently finished recording their debut album which will be released in 2023. Pleaser consists of Annie Marie Nyvold and Sophie Lake on guitar and double lead vocals and on drums and bass Oliver Nehammer and Olle Bergholz.
